116th MET prepares for deployment at Fort Hood

Soldiers of the 116th Military Engagement Team work through scenarios during a staff exercise, held April 10-14, 2016, at Fort Hood, Texas. The exercise required the Soldiers to work through planning and conducting engagements, much like the Soldiers will see overseas. The 116th MET previously completed three weeks of training at Fort Pickett, Virginia, and is completing additional training requirements at Fort Hood. During their federal mobilization, the 116th MET will conduct military-to-military engagements with partners in U.S. Army Central Command’s area of responsibility including Kuwait, Jordan, Oman and Tajikistan.
