Squads compete for top honors in 276th Engineer Battalion
Soldiers assigned to the Rocky Mount-based 229th Chemical Company take first place in the squad competition for the Petersburg-based 276th Engineer Battalion, 91st Troop Command held Aug. 19-20, 2016, at Fort Pickett. Virginia. Events in the competition included a written knowledge test specific to a Soldier's military specialty, weapons disassembly, assembly and functions check, night land navigation, six-mile ruck march and situation training lanes focused on reacting to enemy contact and reacting to an improvised explosive device.
