Maj. David Wheeler takes command of the Fort Pickett-based 34th Civil Support Team from Lt. Col. Michael Booker Oct. 6, 2016, at Fort Pickett, Virginia. Brig. Gen. Walter Mercer, Virginia National Guard Assistant Adjutant General - Army, presided over the exchange of the unit guidon that represented the change of command from Booker to Wheeler.
