429th BSB welcomes new commander
Lt. Col. Edwin R. Bochtler takes command of the Danville-based 429th Brigade Support Battalion, 116th Infantry Brigade Combat Team from Lt. Col. Christopher M. Guillory during a ceremony held Nov. 2, 2018, in Blackstone, Virginia. Col. Joseph A. DiNonno, commander of the 116th IBCT, presided over the exchange of unit colors that represented the transfer of command from Guillory to Bochtler, and he presented Guillory the Meritorious Service Medal in recognition of his outstanding tour of duty as the 429th commander.
