AG presents awards at Military Through the Ages

Maj. Gen. Timothy P. Williams, the Adjutant General of Virginia, presents awards to the top re-enactor units at the Military Through the Ages event March 17, 2019, at Jamestown Settlement near Williamsburg, Virginia, and he also acted as the reviewing officer for the pass in review. Virginia National Guard Soldiers assigned to the Norfolk-based Battery B, 1st Battalion, 111th Field Artillery, 116th Infantry Brigade Combat Team took part in a demonstration of 500 years of Virginia artillery, and one Soldier served on a crew with members from multiple centuries firing a 17th century artillery piece.
