Cavalry scouts focus on observation post training
Virginia National Guard Soldiers assigned to the Suffolk-based Bravo Troop, 2nd Squadron, 183rd Cavalry Regiment, 116th Infantry Brigade Combat Team conduct observation post training Feb. 2, 2018, at Fort Pickett, Virginia. The training focused on key tasks like camouflage and concealment, observation techniques and timely and accurate information reporting, as well as the logistical requirements of sustaining continuous operation over a 36-hour period.
