More than 40 1032nd Soldiers extend enlistments
Seventeen Virginia National Guard Soldiers assigned to the Gate City-based 1032nd Transportation Company, 1030th Transportation Battalion, 329th Regional Support Group extend their enlistments in the Virginia National Guard July 17, 2018, during a ceremony at their two weeks of annual training at Fort Pickett, Virginia. More than 40 Soldiers total extended their enlistments, but they were not able to attend the ceremony because they were conducting training. Maj. Gen. Maj. Gen. Timothy P. Williams, the Adjutant General of Virginia, thanked each Soldier and presented them with a coin recognizing their extension, and the Soldiers also received items from the Virginia National Guard Recruting and Retention Battalion.
