Virginia MEDEVAC Soldiers return from Kosovo deployment
Virginia National Guard Soldiers return to Virginia Nov. 6, 2018, after spending most of year in Kosovo serving on federal active duty. During their deployment, the Soldiers provided aerial medical evacuation support and training to U.S. and allied forces supporting Operation Joint Guardian. They are assigned to the Chesterfield-based Detachment 2, Charlie Company, 1st Battalion, 169th Aviation Regiment and began their federal service in January.
