Virginia Soldiers participate in Bedford School's Memorial Day events
Soldiers from Joint Forces Headquarters participated in Montvale Elementary School's Memorial Day celebration in Bedford, VA, May 27. Each year the elementary school's Memorial Day celebration includes motorcyclists from Run for the Wall, a motorcycle ride from California to Washington, DC to ride for veterans for those who cannot ride. The school held a patriotic assembly for the veterans and Guardsmen with words of thanks and many patriotic songs. Director of Interagency Operations, Brig. Gen. Robert Tucker attended the ceremony and presented coins to some of the riders and school representatives, along with a speech of thanks to the veterans for their service. (Photos by Capt.
