Virginia Guard commemorates 66th anniversary of D-Day with special observance event in Winchester
Lt. Col. Paul Gilman, commander of the 3rd Battalion, 116th Infantry Regiment, Charlie Lillis, a 29th Infantry Division veteran, and Maj. Thomas Howie’s great grandson Mason Godek of Louisa add soil from Normandy.
