VNG senior leaders visit 34th CERFP after COVID response missions

Maj. Gen. Timothy P. Williams, the Adjutant General of Virginia, and Brig. Gen. James Ring, Director of the Virginia National Guard Joint Staff, visit with Soldiers and Airmen concluding COVID-19 sample collection missions July 24, 2020, at the S. Gardner Waller Depot in Richmond, Virginia. The Soldiers and Airmen are assigned to the Richmond-based 34th Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear and High-Yield Explosives Enhanced Response Force Package, which has been conducting COVID-19 sample collections for testing since April 2020. During the visit, Williams and Ring thanked CERFP personnel, who have collected more than 100,000 samples at long term care and other facilities during their mission.
