2-224th AVN welcomes Viera as new CSM
The Virginia National Guard’s aviation battalion welcomed Command Sgt. Maj. Joseph R. Viera to the formation during a change of responsibility ceremony held Oct. 18, 2020, at the Army Aviation Support Facility in Sandston, Virginia. The ceremony marked the transfer of responsibility for Soldier welfare and training within 2nd Battalion, 224th Aviation Regiment, 29th Infantry Division from Command Sgt. Maj. Kenneth Hall to Viera.
