Saber Soldiers extend enlistments, recognized for duty performance

Virginia National Guard Soldiers assigned to the Portsmouth-based 2nd Squadron, 183rd Cavalry Regiment, 116th Infantry Brigade Combat Team conduct enlistment extensions and are recognized for outstanding duty performance Feb. 5, 2021, on the steps on the U.S. Capitol in Washington, D.C. Lt. Col. Brandon Lindsey, squadron commander, administered the oath of enlistment to Soldiers extending their enlistment and also presented special 59th Presidential Inauguration challenge coins to Soldiers for outstanding duty performance along with Command Sgt. Maj. Mical Seaton, the squadron command sergeant major. Col. Christopher Samulski, commander of the 116th IBCT, presented his challenge coins to Soldiers serving on the squadron staff.
