Artillery Soldiers represent modern military at Jamestown history event

Virginia National Guard Soldiers assigned to the Norfolk-based 1st Battalion, 111th Field Artillery Regiment, 116th Infantry Brigade Combat Team represent the modern military and conduct a blank-fire demonstration with a M119A3 howitzer at Jamestown Settlement’s Military Through the Ages March 20, 2021, at Jamestown, Virginia. Maj. Gen. Timothy P. Williams, the Adjutant General of Virginia, visited the Soldiers and presented his challenge coin as a thanks to the Soldiers for representing the VNG at the event.
