VNG mobile vaccine team supports Hopewell vaccination clinic

Virginia National Guard Soldiers and Airmen provide support to a COVID-19 vaccination clinic hosted by the Crater Health District March 26, 2021, in Hopewell, Virginia. During the clinic, VNG personnel helped administer vaccine and provided administrative support. The VNG is reconfiguring the task force currently conducting COVID-19 testing and mask fit training to create mobile vaccination teams to provide additional capacity for the statewide vaccination program. The new teams consist of Army and Air National Guard medics trained and certified by the Virginia Department of Health to administer the vaccines.
