Gillis promoted to brigadier general, will lead VaARNG strategic initiatives

Col. Doyle Gillis, Jr., is promoted to brigadier general July 10, 2021, at the Virginia War Memorial in Richmond, Virginia. Gillis succeeds Brig. Gen. James A.
