VNG Soldiers participate VDH Healthcare Heroes Combine
Virginia National Guard Soldiers assigned to the VNG task force for COVID-19 vaccination support participate in the Healthcare Heroes Combine presented by Virginia Department of Health July 27, 2021, in Richmond, Virginia. The event was held at the Bon Secours Training Center, home of the Washington Football Team’s training camp, and allowed healthcare workers and first responders to participate in football combine-style events including the broad jump, a pass catching drill and the 40-yard dash. First Lt. Carlos Valledares and Sgt. Jason Ames represented the VNG at the event, which featured former WFT stars including Tim Hightower and Fred Davis.
