Virginia’s First Lady tours Commonwealth ChalleNGe Youth Academy
First Lady of Virginia Pamela Northam tours Commonwealth ChalleNGe Youth Academy July 30, 2021, at the State Military Reservation in Virginia Beach, Virginia. She was joined on the tour by Virginia’s Acting Secretary of Veterans and Defense Affairs Kathleen Jabs; Maj. Gen. Timothy P. Williams, the Adjutant General of Virginia; and retired Navy Capt. Mark Chicoine, the Commonwealth ChalleNGe director. During the visit, Northam toured the academy grounds and met with the Environmental Club where she presented cadets with special challenge coins.
