Task Force Red Dragon Soldiers conduct heavy machine gun live fire

Virginia and Kentucky National Guard Soldiers assigned to the Lynchburg-based 1st Battalion, 116th Infantry Regiment, 116th Infantry Brigade Combat Team, also known as Task Force Red Dragon, conduct a live-fire range with the M240 machine gun during the Machine Gun Leaders Course Aug. 5, 2021, at Fort Pickett, Virginia. The course is part of the battalion’s pre-deployment training July 31 through Aug. 15, 2021, at Fort Pickett.
