Virginia National Guard Soldiers assigned to the Lynchburg-based 1st Battalion, 116th Infantry Regiment, 116th Infantry Brigade Combat Team, also known as Task Force Red Dragon, conduct tactical combat casualty care Nov. 2, 2021, at Fort Pickett, Virginia. Soldiers learned care under fire, medical treatment as well as more advanced lifesaving skills. The class is part of the battalion’s pre-deployment training being held at Fort Pickett.
