TF Red Dragon conducts platoon live-fire exercise
Virginia National Guard Soldiers assigned to the Lynchburg-based 1st Battalion, 116th Infantry Regiment, 116th Infantry Brigade Combat Team, also known as Task Force Red Dragon, conduct a platoon live-fire exercise Nov. 7, 2021, at Fort Pickett, Virginia. Platoons executed communication, movement to their objective and assaulting an enemy position as part of the validation process for deployment. The exercise was part of the battalion’s pre-deployment training being held at Fort Pickett.
