TF Red Dragon trains on MRAP All-Terrain Vehicle

Virginia National Guard Soldiers assigned to the Lynchburg-based 1st Battalion, 116th Infantry Regiment, 116th Infantry Brigade Combat Team, also known as Task Force Red Dragon, train on the MRAP All-Terrain Vehicle, or M-ATV Nov. 4, 2021, at Fort Pickett Virginia. Soldiers assigned to the Fort Pickett-based 2nd Battalion, 183rd Regiment, Regional Training Institute conducted the classroom instruction and road testing that served to “train the trainers,” and the students will then teach their fellow Soldiers to help prepare for the unit’s upcoming mobilization in support of Combined Task Force - Horn of Africa.
