Red Dragons train on 81mm mortar system

Virginia National Guard Soldiers assigned to the Lynchburg-based 1st Battalion, 116th Infantry Regiment, 116th Infantry Brigade Combat Team, also known as Task Force Red Dragon, conduct a live-fire range with the M252 81-millimeter mortar system Nov. 6, 2021, at Fort Pickett, Virginia. The range was part of the battalion’s pre-deployment training being held at Fort Pickett.
