DMA managers participate in leader development course
Virginia Department of Military Affairs supervisors participate in the DMA Leader Development Course Jan. 25 - 27, 2022, at the Virginia National Guard Sergeant Bob Slaughter Headquarters at Defense Supply Center Richmond, Virginia. Eight managers from departments across the DMA listened to guest presenters and participated in group sessions on a variety of topics intended to help them become more effective leaders. Maj. Gen. Timothy P. Williams, the Adjutant General of Virginia, also addressed the class. The course, led by retired Brig. Gen. Walt Mercer, the DMA Chief Operations Officer, and retired Command Sgt. Maj.
