Outgoing wing commander makes final Raptor flight
Outgoing 192d Fighter Wing Commander Col. Mark “Scruff” McCauley took to the skies with four wingmen for his final flight Nov. 13 at Langley Air Force Base. Flanked by his family and over 150 friends and wing members, McCauley parked his jet for the final time in front of the new 149th Fighter Squadron building. His final flight culminated a distinguished career with more than 3,000 flying hours in the F4, F16 and F22. The event wouldn’t have been complete without his wife and children hosing him down.
