Sec. Crenshaw receives VNG Counterdrug Task Force capabilities brief

Virginia National Guard Soldiers assigned to the Counterdrug Task Force provide a capabilities brief and UH-72 Lakota helicopter orientation flight to retired Maj. Gen. Craig Crenshaw, the Virginia Secretary of Veterans and Defense Affairs, July 7, 2022, in Chesterfield County, Virginia. The VNG Counterdrug Task Force provides military-unique support to state law enforcement agencies and community-based organizations in the prevention, detection, interdiction, disruption, dismantling and curtailment of drug trafficking activities in order to reduce drug and criminal activity within state and local communities. Maj. Gen. Timothy P. Williams, the Adjutant General of Virginia, Brig. Gen. James W. Ring, the VNG Director of the Joint Staff, and other VNG senior leaders also attended the brief.
