AG hosts first-ever Professional Development Weekend
Maj. Gen. Timothy P. Williams, the Adjutant General of Virginia, hosts the first-ever AG Professional Development Weekend Aug. 20-21, 2022, at Defense Supply Center Richmond, Virginia, to create shared
understanding with Virginia National Guard command teams and senior staff on emerging topics and challenges affecting overall readiness. Senior leader sessions included a panel discussion with Lt. Gen. Jon A. Jensen, Director of the Army National Guard, and Brig. Gen. Bryony A. Terrell, Vice Director for Operations and Force Development for the National Guard Bureau, and presentations from Maj. Gen. John M. Epperly, Deputy Commanding General - Army National Guard for Army Futures Command, and Maj. Gen. William L. Zana, Director of Strategy and Plans for National Guard Bureau. During small group discussions, leaders discussed how the information presented relates to their units and how they can influence positive change in the future.
