Engineer leaders gather for professional development muster
More than 75 Virginia Army National Guard Engineer officers and senior noncommissioned officers from units across Virginia met for an “Engineer Muster” professional development conference Sept. 10, 2022, at the Virginia National Guard Sergeant Bob Slaughter Headquarters at Defense Supply Center Richmond, Virginia. The event was hosted by the command teams of the 276th Engineer Battalion and the 229th Brigade Engineer Battalion, and it marked the first time in several years engineers from across the commonwealth were able to come together, hear from their senior leaders, learn about each unit’s capabilities and missions as well as build esprit de corps.
