34th CERFP conducts decontamination training

Virginia and District of Columbia National Guard Soldiers and Airmen conduct decontamination training Dec. 5, 2022, during Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear, Explosive Enhanced Response Force Package University, or CERFPU, at Fort Pickett, Virginia. The Soldiers and Airmen are assigned to the Richmond-based 34th CERFP, which provides search and extraction, decontamination, medical support and fatality management during CBRNE response incidents. Soldiers and Airmen practiced emergency and technical decontamination during the CERFPU rotation, which also included classroom and first aid training.
