Griffeth, Bergman take top honors at 329th RSG Best Warrior Competition
Virginia National Guard Soldiers assigned to the Virginia Beach-based 329th Regional Support Group participate in the unit’s Best Warrior Competition Jan. 21, 2023, at Fort Pickett, Virginia. Soldiers competed in multiple events in order to test their skills, including land navigation, a three-mile ruck march, Army Warrior Tasks, weapons proficiency, tactical movements, a written test and oral boards. Sgt. Alexandra Griffeth and Spc. Jared Bergman were named the 329th’s NCO and Soldier of the year, while Sgt. Michael Paxman and Spc. Travis Robertson were named runners-up.
