Virginia National Guard Soldiers assigned to the Fort Barfoot-based Detachment 1, Delta Company, 229th Brigade Engineer Battalion, 116th Infantry Brigade Combat Team, conduct unmanned aerial vehicle operations with the Shadow 200 RQ-7 Tactical Unmanned Aircraft System June 6, 2023, at Fort Barfoot, Virginia. Soldiers trained on simulators, conducted maintenance on aircraft and flight operations to keep up certifications and train new unmanned vehicle aircraft operators and maintenance crews.
