U.S. Army Soldiers train on weapons systems in preparation for Expert Infantryman and Expert Soldier Badge testing June 9, 2023, at Fort Barfoot, Virginia. The training, hosted by the Staunton-based 116th Infantry Brigade Combat Team, included approximately 120 Soldiers from the Virginia and Kentucky Army National Guard; the Fort Meyer-based 3rd Infantry Regiment, known as the Old Guard; the Fort Liberty, North Carolina-based 112th Signal Battalion; and Finland.
