Ceremony marks VDF awards, promotion
Col. (Va.) David James, Virginia Defense Force deputy commander, presides over an awards and promotion ceremony at the end of the Virginia Defense Force multi-day unit training assembly Nov. 5, 2023, at Fort Barfoot, Virginia. James presented 2nd Lt. (Va.) Alonza Sutton with the VDF Achievement Medal and MAJ Jason Bogden with the VDF Service Ribbon, and he also presented the VDF Meritorious Unit Commendation to representatives of the 31st Cyber Battalion and VDF Recruiting Battalion.
