237th Engineers conduct Sapper validation
Virginia National Guard Soldiers assigned to the West Point-based 237th Engineer Company, 276th Engineer Battalion, 329th Regional Support Group participate in a Sapper prep validation event March 6, 2024, in West Point, Virginia. Four 237th Soldiers conducted a Sapper Physical Fitness Test, followed by Sapper Tactical Tasks, including weapons and communications gear knowledge, plotting points and identifying terrain features on a map and tying into a demolitions line. The Soldiers also trained on land navigation and conducted a ruck march at Fort Barfoot after the events in West Point.
