Winner named following 2024 ROTC College Clash Marksmanship Competition
Following the multi-day 2024 ROTC College Clash Marksmanship Competition, winners are announced during a ceremony held April 21, 2024, at Fort Barfoot. ROTC cadets from the Virginia Military Institute swept the competition, which included awards for the top three pistol shooters, rifle shooters and two-person teams. Col. Jaycee Shaver, the Fort Barfoot garrison commander, presided over the ceremony. In total, 59 cadets participated in the match, including shooters from George Mason University, James Madison University, Liberty University, Redford University, Virginia Tech and the Virginia Military Institute.
