Finnish delegation, VNG senior leaders visit 91st Cyber Brigade
Lt. Gen. Kari Nisula, Deputy Chief of Staff Operations for the Finnish Defense Forces, and other senior Finnish military officers receive capability briefings from the Virginia National Guard’s 91st Cyber Brigade and two of its subordinate units June 12, 2024, at the State Military Reservation in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Jumper, Commander of the Virginia Air National Guard, accompanied the Finnish delegation as they were hosted by Col. Rusty McGuire and Command Sgt. Maj. Michael Rivera-Wenger, the 91st Cyber Brigade command team. The 91st Cyber Brigade is currently participating in Cyber Shield 2024, the Department of Defense’s largest annual cyber exercise with nearly 1,000 participants from 42 different states and territories, along with several international partners.
