29th ID Soldiers conduct battle walk at Omaha Beach
U.S. Army 1st Lt. Thomas Sey, assigned to the 29th Infantry Division, reviews historical documents from the D-Day invasion June 3, 2025, at Omaha Beach, in Normandy France. Sey, along with approximately 30 additional Soldiers from the 29th ID, participated in a battle overview provided by personnel from the Normandy Institute, which focused on the heroic efforts of the men assigned to the 29th ID on D-Day, June 6, 1944. More than 600 U.S. service members, including those from the 29th ID, are in Normandy to commemorate the 81st anniversary of the D-Day landings.
