Burge, right, 192nd Mission Support Group commander, presides over the 192nd Force Support Squadron’s first change of command ceremony June 7, 2025, at Joint Base Langley-Eustis in Hampton, Virginia. The 192nd FSS welcomed Maj. Bakari S. Prioleau as the new commander and bid farewell to outgoing commander, Lt. Col. Alex J. Shamp, who led the unit during its previous designation as the 192nd Support Squadron since July 2022. Earlier that day, the Virginia Air National Guard’s 192nd MSG underwent significant restructuring, retiring the 192nd SS and forming the 192nd FSS and the 192nd Logistics Readiness Squadron, along with the 192nd Civil Engineering Flight and the 192nd Communications Flight.
