Army Chief of Staff Gen. Randy George and Sergeant Major of the Army Michael R. Weimer visit Virginia National Guard Soldiers assigned to the Staunton-base 116th Infantry Brigade Combat Team June 18, 2025, as they conduct a 21-day eXportable Combat Training Capability rotation to test the approved task organization for a mobile brigade combat team. George talked with Soldiers to learn more about the 116th’s effort to support the Army’s transformation initiative, thanked Soldiers for their service and presented his challenge coin in recognition of outstanding duty performance.
