Legend Soldiers move cargo during XCTX

Virginia National Guard Soldiers assigned to the Danville-based 429th Brigade Support Battalion, 116th Infantry Brigade Combat Team employ Palletized Load System vehicles to move cargo June 23, 2025, at Fort Pickett, Virginia. These heavy tactical trucks are equipped with a Load Handling System which has a hook-lift mechanism at the rear of the truck that allows for rapid self-loading and unloading of demountable cargo beds, known as flatracks. The 116th is the first Army National Guard brigade to test the approved task organization for a mobile brigade combat team, and it will be evaluated during a 21-day eXportable Combat Training Capability rotation.
