Virginia Army National Guard Soldiers assigned to the Fort Pickett-based 157th Engineer Platoon, 276th Engineer Battalion, 329th Regional Support Group, host Brig. Gen. Andrew Stone, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers’ deputy chief of engineers for National Guard Affairs, July 13, 2025, at Fort Pickett, Virginia. Stone is researching Army National Guard quarry operations, and Fort Pickett is home to one of the only operational ARNG quarry sites in the country.
