Virginia National Guard youth enjoy 20th annual youth camp
Children of Virginia National Guard Soldiers and Airmen enjoy a variety of military displays and activities at the 20th annual Virginia National Guard Youth Camp July 30, 2025, at the State Military Reservation in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Virginia National Guard personnel from the the 29th Infantry Division Band; 34th Civil Support Team; Charlie Troop, 2nd Squadron, 183rd Cavalry Regiment; and 2nd Battalion, 224th Aviation Regiment provided demonstrations of their equipment and discussed their military careers with the campers. The camp is scheduled to run from July 26-Aug. 1 and features educational activities, team building exercises, a flag retirement ceremony, an afternoon at the beach and field trips to local attractions.
