Virginia Army National Guard Soldiers assigned to the Sandston-based 2nd Battalion, 224th Aviation Regiment, 29th Infantry Division conduct a 100-meter, time swim assessment as part of testing for the German Armed Forces Proficiency Badge Aug. 13, 2025, at Fort Lee, Virginia. Approximately 25 Soldiers participated in the swim event, which required them to complete the swim in uniform in less than four minutes before doffing their pants and blouse.
