Virginia Army National Guard Soldiers assigned to the Sandston-based 2nd Battalion, 224th Aviation Regiment, 29th Infantry Division conduct a road march as part of testing for the German Armed Forces Proficiency Badge Aug. 14, 2025, at the Petersburg National Battlefield in Petersburg, Virginia. The Soldiers conquered distances of six, nine or 12 kilometers based on which badge they are aiming to qualify for, either bronze, silver or gold.
