2-224th AVN Soldiers receive German Armed Forces Proficiency Badge
Six Virginia Army National Guard Soldiers assigned to the Sandston-based 2nd Battalion, 224th Aviation Regiment, 29th Infantry Division receive the German Armed Forces Proficiency Badge Aug. 16, 2025, at the Army Aviation Support Facility in Sandston, Virginia. Testing for the badge took place over two days and required Soldiers to complete a 100-meter swim, a ruck march, a marksmanship test, a fitness test and several written tests.
