Soldiers from the Virginia National Guard's Task Force 183 conduct M240 machine gun qualification June 15 at Camp Atterbury, Ind. After conducting the Table V practice qualification run the day prior, three-Soldier Humvee crews negotiate six day engagements and four night engagements in the Table VI qualification run. Approximately 825 Soldiers from across the commonwealth are on federal active duty as part of Task Force 183 and are preparing for duty in Iraq where they are scheduled to conduct convoy security and base defense operations.
