Virginia ESGR recognizes Chesterfield Police Department

The Virginia Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve and Brig. Gen. Wayne A. Wright, Deputy Adjutant General of Virginia, present Col. Thierry G. Dupuis, chief of police of the Chesterfield Police Department, with a plaque Sept. 19 recognizing the organization's efforts in supporting National Guard and Reserve servicemembers. The Chesterfield Police Department was one of the top 30 civilian employers in the nation to receive consideration for the Freedom Award from ESGR. The Secretary of Defense Employer Support Freedom Award is the highest recognition given by the U.S. Government to employers for their support of their employees who serve in the National Guard and Reserve.(Photo by Sgt. 1st Class A.J.
