Fort Pickett Army Reserve site earns top supply excellence award
Maj. Gen. William D. Razz Waff, commanding general of the Army Reserve’s 99th Regional Support Command, presents the 2012 Army Chief of Staff Supply Excellence Award to members of the 99th RSC’s Equipment Concentration Site 88 Dec. 20 at Fort Pickett, Va. ECS 88 beat out more than 140 other Army Reserve ECSs nationwide to win in the Army Reserve Tables of Distribution and Allowances, Small category.
“This is a great supply award, but it’s the people behind it that make it really great,” said Waff.
The Supply Excellence Award program aims to enhance the readiness of all Army units and to perpetuate group competition while also increasing public awareness of supply excellence within the U.S. Army.
ECS 88 will go on to compete at the Department of the Army level against active duty and National Guard units. Winners from that competition will be announced in mid to late spring 2013. (Photo by Staff Sgt. Terra C.Gatti)
