29th Division Band plays for Va. Executive Mansion birthday

The Virginia National Guard's Clifton Forge-based 29th Division Band plays at the 200th Birthday Party for the Virginia Executive Mansion March 16, 2013, in Richmond. The band's rock ensemble "Raising Caine" also performed, and several family members of Soldiers in the band added their musical talents to the concert. The Executive Mansion is the oldest continually occupied governor's residence in the United States, built for that purpose in 1813. The Mansion serves as a residence for Virginia Governors and their families, a place for public and private events and is also open at certain times for visitors. The current residents of the Executive Mansion are Governor Robert F. McDonnell and his family, the Mansion's 54th Governor. (Photo by Cotton Puryear, Virginia National Guard Public Affairs)
