229th Chemical Co. Soldiers conduct air movement training

Soldiers from the Rocky Mount-based 229th Chemical Company, 276th Engineer Battalion, 91st Troop Command conduct air movement training using UH-60 Black Hawk helicopters from the Sandston-based 2nd Battalion, 224th Aviation Regiment, 91st Troop Command April 14, 2013, at Fort A. P. Hill. After receiving training on hot and cold loading procedures from the aviators of the 2-224th, Soldiers from the 229th conducted several dry runs before boarding the helicopters for movement. After exiting the helicopter, the Soldiers took up tactical positions and then prepared to foot march to the location of their scheduled Army Warrior Task Training. The 229th Soldiers are at Fort A.
